About Me

My name is Jenn. I am a social media strategist. I work with brands and agencies to take businesses to the next level.

I love using my creativity and building things from scratch.
I have many skills and tend to juggle a lot of balls at once.

It seems to be how I work best.

I am a risk taker. An out of the box thinker.

I am a big idea person. I am always up for a challenge.

Daze of Adventure is my personal blog – a peek into our family’s life.

Daze of Adventure Family

The name Daze of Adventure came to be after we had moved six times in four short years. Throughout our life of marriage and kids, you name it – we have been there, done that, and gotten the t-shirt. We have faced successes and failures. Seasons of job loss, death of parents, battles of cancer, valleys in our marriage, bankruptcy court, parenting woes and more.

We are human. We make mistakes. We brush ourselves off and try again. A little harder. And a little wiser.

Randomness about me::

I am an Arkansas girl planted in south Florida. And if I ever have to move from here, I will go kicking and screaming. Cold weather and I are not friends. I love sand between my toes.

And it’s a good thing, because my floors are usually covered in it.

I love sports. On most Saturdays, you will find me at a football field. Year-round.
When we went to the first day of football practice for my oldest, I thought we had signed him up for flag football.
Out of fear of my reaction, my husband didn’t tell me otherwise. That was eight years ago.
It didn’t take long. I drank the kool-aid. And have been ‘that Momma’, decked out in team colors, screaming on the sidelines ever since.

I can organize a house like nobody’s mother. And my children can mess it up like one too.

I heart good wine.

I travel a lot. While I love to fly for convenience, we love a road trip. Any day of the week.

I want to live in an RV for a year and travel the country with my kids. The entire country. I want to be one of those people who color in the vinyl map on the back window of the RV with Sharpies. Yes. That one.

I (and our daughter) have had Celiac Disease since 2001. Ya’ know – before it was the hype. It’s not an inconvenience. It’s a lifestyle. As is homeschooling. And we do that too.

I have worked on a campaigns with NASA, as well as SpaceX.

In 2010, I had a sit-down, face to face intense conversation with a few of Obama’s cabinet members regarding the state of our country’s education system.
And I am still awaiting them to implement my ideas. (ahem)

I believe in order to have good friends, you have to be one.

I have a heart for supporting local. And I consider Made in the USA to be local.

I love helping others. I appreciate authentic relationships. Please don’t ask me to chit-chat, and pick my brain and then use my ideas. That is just wrong.

I fully disclose all affiliations and relationships as The FTC requires. Know that.
